The percentage of waste collected from our production facility has generally improved year on year (since 2007, see graph), Sovereign 10 years of continuous recycling.
Quality & Standards Manager – Mark Pilkington said; “As we move towards another decade of recycling at The Sovereign Group, we are on course to average at around 87%.”
Mark added; “Over the last couple of years we have been successful in removing more and more items from the general waste to put through recycling streams.
We constantly focus on improving this by looking into ways of removing more of the smaller items. With regard to our ‘General Waste Disposal’, our general waste partners have reported to us that we are now at ‘Zero Landfill’, which is another fantastic achievement for The Sovereign Group.”
